1- The person celebrating it is actually a product and slave of the society and doesn't hav a free thinking mind. He/she bends to every wind flowing out there. Whatever the majority (society) is doing, he/she will do without stopping for a second and thinking is that right or wrong or what effects it can have on the society. One ayah of the Glorious Quran explains this concept beautifully:
"And if you obey most of those on earth, they will mislead you far away from Allah's Path. They follow nothing but conjectures, and they do nothing but lie." (6:116)
2- They believe that by wishing their "loved" ones on one specific day and by giving a piece of rose or a gift, their love life will become perfect. However, each year they celebrate it which means that they feel that they have not given proper love to their loved ones and the love life has not yet become perfect and now is the time to express it all. Such people are not only morally weak but dumb and foolish as well (which is obvious to happen if you follow the system unquestionably).
3- Such people are worshippers of their own whims and desires and the so-called "love" they want to express to their loved ones is nothing but lust and an excuse to fulfil their carnal desires. And when advised to not do it, in return they act like they dont want to listen. Quran says about such people:
"Have you seen him who has taken as his god his own desire? ..do you think that most of them hear or understand? They are only like cattle; nay, they are even farther astray from the Path." (25:43:44)
They say its a moment to express love. But indeed true love (with wife, mother, father, siblings, friends, relatives) is 24/7, and not reserved for one specific day.
4- Such people are nothing but victims of the monstrous, evil, wicked consumerism industry who get a massive chance to sell their products and rip off people. Ever wondered why in such a case would they (consumerism) want this day to be called off.
